User Training, Step 3 in the CMMS Lifecycle can be done On-Site or Remotely. The best experience is On-Site Training with the Users on the keyboard. We feel training provides the best results when the User learns through application in real situations that will occur.
Navigation is learned with repetition over time as does how to use the Main Menu and Context Menus.
Table interactions are taught in a sequential order that follows the Training Agenda.
Training takes three forms: 1) Express Request Training is for non-maintenance work requesters who want to submit work requests through the Work Request software Express Request, 2) Work Order Training is for those who will be using Express Maintenance creating Planned and Demand Work Orders and closing them, and 3) System Administration (SA) Training which covers all aspects of the EM/ER software function and use and is typically an 8 to 12 hour experience that attempts to simulate a "Day in the Life of the SA".
To supplement the Training and provide a Training resource for retraining or new employee training we have available through our Training Documents to purchase Complete Sets of Training documents for Version 7 or Version 8 EM/ER.
